CUTLER BAY - Ekkeko Holdings, LLC. is being sued in this wrongful death action filed on October 10, 2016.

Maria Benitez, as Personal Representative of the Estate of Jose Gonzalez Perdomo, holds Ekkeko Holdings, LLC. responsible for her husband's death after and incident on their property on May 21, 2016. 

The first count on this complaint is for wrongful death. On this date, the Plaintiff's decedent, Perdomo, was walking between an RV and a shed when he was electrified. Benitez alleges they were negligent by failing to have policies and/or procedures in effect to inspect and/or maintain the premises to prevent the hazard that caused Plaintiff's decedent's death.

The Plaintiff, as Personal Representative alleges the decedent's Estate suffered loss of prospective net accumulations as well as medical and funeral expenses and demands judgment against the Defendant in excess of $15,000.

On Count 2 of this complaint, the Plaintiff, Maria Benitez, claims that as a direct and proximate result of the Defendant's negligence, she endured mental pain and suffering for the loss of her husband as well as loss of his companionship, guidance, and support. She demands judgment against the Defendant in an amount in excess of $15,000, including prejudgment interest, costs, and such further relief as this court deems proper.
