Broward County Property Appraiser:


The current Broward County Property Appraiser is Marty Kiar. The office of the Broward County Property Appraiser works with the public on all real-estate and property matters. The office provides the public with services such as property appraisals for residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. The office of the Broward County Property Appraiser also provides the public with homestead fraud counseling and investigators. The office also provides the public with legal forms like deeds, liens, and forms for mortgages and foreclosure.

Broward County Municipal Codes - There are 2 parts:

  1. Broward County Code of Ordinances - the rules and regulations of Broward County's municipalities.  It is the “Code of Broward County" which is a compilation of County ordinances, resolutions, administrative rules and regulations, and laws of the state, including special acts of direct application to Broward County. 
  2. Broward County Administrative Code - rules and regulations of Broward County's governmental agencies - sets forth departmental organization of the government and the nature and scope of each department together with all required rules and procedures for the operation of said departments and a comprehensive budget procedure.

 

Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO):

The current Broward County Sheriff is Alfred T. Lamberti. Since 2007, Sheriff Lamberti has been managing over 2,800 deputies and 600 fire rescue professionals with in the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
