OAKLAND PARK - A complaint was filed on October 26, 2016 against Walgreens Co. and Robert Cox in a negligence action.
According to the complaint, the Plaintiff, Kathreen Gilbert, slipped on liquid near the coolers at Walgreens. Count 1 of the complaint is declaring negligence by Walgreens. Count 2 of this complaint was caused by Robert Cox rear-ending her that same day.
As a result of these negligent actions, the Plaintiff suffered pain, disability, mental anguish. Furthermore, she incurred the expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment.
The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendants for damages in excess of $15,000, costs, and any other relief the Court may deem appropriate. Additionally, the Plaintiff is represented by David Strong, ESQ. of Law Offices of David R. Strong, P.A in Fort Lauderdale.
