PEMBROKE PINES - A complaint was filed on October 20, 2016 after a slip and fall occurred in Corner Bakery Cafe in Pembroke Pines.
The Plaintiff, Kelly Valles, was walking in the Corner Bakery Cafe on February 12, 2016 when she slipped and fell due to a slippery substance that was left on the ground of the premises.
She alleges the Defendants were negligent by failing to properly maintain the premises and further states the condition existed for long enough that the Defendant either had or should have known that is was there.
As a result of the fall, the Plaintiff sustained serious injuries that are permanent or continuing in nature.
The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendants for compensatory damages in excess of $15,000 plus taxable costs of the court. She further demands trial by jury and is represented by Milton S. Blaut, Esq. of Blaut Weiss Law Group in Plantation.
