DAVIE - Gateland Village Condominium, Inc. is being sued for negligence after a woman trips and falls. 

According to the complaint, the Plaintiff, America Laguna, was caused to trip and fall over an improperly placed ramp in the middle of a walkway and severely injure herself. She alleges the Plaintiff was negligent in allowing this dangerous condition to exist and failing to warn the Plaintiff about it. 

As a result of the incident, the Plaintiff suffered the inability to lead a normal life, loss of the ability to earn money, suffered pain and physical handicap, and lost wages. 

The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendant for compensatory damages in excess of $15,000 plus taxable costs of the court. The Plaintiff further demands trial by jury and is represented by William C. Ruggiero, Esq. of Law Office of William C. Ruggiero in Fort Lauderdale.
