PEMBROKE PINES - A woman is suing Whole Foods for negligence after she slips and falls on their property.

Francia Nieto filed a complaint against Whole Foods, alleging that the facility failed to remedy a dangerous condition and/or warn her about it and failed to properly maintain the premises in a safe condition.

She was shopping at a Whole Foods Market located in Pembroke Pines on May 8, 2015. She was lawfully on the property when she suddenly slipped on wax paper that was left on the floor.

According to the complaint, she suffered pain and mental anguish, physical handicap, physiological injuries and damages, and incurred medical expenses and hospital related expenses.

Francia Nieto sues Whole Foods for compensatory damages in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limit of $15,000. She is represented by David S. Magram, Esq. of David S. Magram, P.A in North Miami Beach.
