MIRAMAR - Wal-mart Stores, Inc. is being sued after a slip and fall that occurred in Miramar.
On November 17, 2015, Jacqueline Corona was shopping in Wal-mart when a slippery, oily substance left on the floor caused her to slip and fall.
She alleges that the store knew, or should have known that the substance was there and failed to clean it up. Additionally, she alleges that they carelessly and negligently failed to inspect the floors for the existence of any dangerous conditions and failed to warn her about the oily substance on the floor.
As a result of this slip and fall, Corona suffered pain, disability, aggravation of a preexisting condition, and loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life. She incurred medical expenses and now demands judgment against the Defendant in excess of $15,000. She is represented by Michael W. Wallace, Esq. of Robert J. Fenstersheib & Associates, P.A. in Hallandale Beach.
