FORT LAUDERDALE - A three-count complaint was filed on October 28, 2016 against the City of Fort Lauderdale after a dangerous co-ed softball game.

According to the complaint, the Plaintiff was participating in a co-ed softball game run by the Defendant when she was struck by another player, causing serious injuries.

She alleges the Defendant negligently hired the workers who allowed alcohol to be consumed during the game, mismatched players of unequal skill, size, weight, etc., didn't properly monitor the actions of the softball players during the game, having negligent security, among many other allegations.

The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000 plus costs. Additionally, the Plaintiff is represented by Christopher O'Toole, ESQ. in Fort Lauderdale.
