SUNRISE - A woman is suing Sunrise Mills MLP and KIMCO Facility Services, LLC after she slipped and fell at Sawgrass Mills Mall.

3According to the complaint, the Plaintiff was shopping at Sawgrass Mills Mall on August 23, 2016. She was outside of the Sports Authority store when she slipped and fell due to a puddle of water. The puddle of water was said to be caused by a leak in the ceiling/ roof located inside the mall.

As a result of her fall, she suffered serious injuries including, but not limited to, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, and aggravation of a pre-existing injury. 

She alleges the defendants were negligent in failing to fix the problem and failing to warn her about the dangerous condition. 

The Plaintiffs demand judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000, costs, and any other relief the Court may deem appropriate. Additionally, the Plaintiffs are represented by Thomas E. Buser, ESQ. of Krupnick, Campbell, Malone, Buser, Slama, Hancock, and Liberman, P.A in Fort Lauderdale.
