FORT LAUDERDALE - A complaint was filed on October 17, 2016 against Lauderdale F&B Partners, which operates the food concessions at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, alleging negligence after a slip and fall.
On March 29, 2014, the Defendant allowed food to remain on the floor for long enough that the Plaintiff was caused to slip on it and fall. As a result of the incident, the Plaintiff sustained severe injuries to her head, body, and limbs, and suffered bilateral knee contusions, cervical sprain/strain, left elbow abrasion, and severe shock to her nerves and nervous system.
The Plaintiff now demands entry of a judgment for damages against the Defendant together with taxable costs and trial by jury. The Plaintiff is represented by G Ware Cornell, Jr. of the Cornell & Associates PA in Weston.
