SUNRISE - A complaint was filed on November 2, 2016 after a slip and fall in Sawgrass Mills.

According to the complaint, the fall was caused by the negligence of the Defendant. The Plaintiff alleged they were negligent by failing to maintain the premises in a safe manner by allowing water to accumulate on the floor of an area that invitees are expected to transverse.

9As a result of this fall on August 28, 2014, the Plaintiff suffered pain, physical handicap, lost wages, loss of ability to earn money in the past and future, aggravation of a previously existing condition, and suffered the inability to lead a normal life. All of these damages are permanent and continuing in nature.

The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendants for damages in excess of $15,000 plus costs. Additionally, the Plaintiff is represented by William C.Ruggiero, ESQ. of Law Office of William C. Ruggiero in Fort Lauderdale.
