DAVIE - Two women from Broward County sue a man named Edward T. La Puma for careless and negligent operation of a vehicle.

The Plaintiffs, Angel and Angelica Ortiz, filed a complaint on September 1, 2016 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court against Edward T. La Puma alleging that Puma was operating his vehicle in a negligent manner, causing a collision with the Plaintiff's vehicle.

According to the complaint, on February 27, 2016, Puma was operating his 2007 Porsche Cayman, maintaining control carelessly and negligently so to cause a collision with Angelica Ortiz's motor vehicle with Angel Ortiz in the passenger seat. Due to his negligence, Both Plaintiffs sustained serious and permanent injuries including, but not limited to; physical impairment, disfigurement and scarring, and aggravation of an existing disease or physical defect.

 The Plaintiffs request a trial by jury and demands a judgment against the Defendant, Edward T. La Puma, for an amount withing the jurisdictional limits of the Court, more than $15,000.00, plus costs, and any other relief to which the Plaintiff may be justly entitled.
