PEMBROKE PINES - A complaint filed on October 17, 2016 against Pembroke Lakes Mall and Millard Mall Services, Inc. states the Defendants were at fault for a slip and fall incident that occurred.

According to the complaint, Plaintiff Lorieuse Duteste was caused to slip and fall due to accumulated liquid on the floor on November 23, 2012. 

10On this 2 count complaint, the Plaintiff alleges the Defendants were negligent in allowing liquid to accumulate and remain on the mall's floor for an unreasonable length of time, thereby allowing an unsafe condition to exist and failing to warn the Plaintiff about said condition.

As a result of the slip and fall, the Plaintiff suffered serious injuries and demands judgment against the Defendants for damages, costs, and such other and further relief as the Court deems just and proper. The Plaintiff is represented by Cynthia Lauriston, Esq. of Lauriston Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale.
