LAUDERHILL - Newport at Lauderhill Association, Inc. is being sued for negligence after the Plaintiff trips and falls.
According to the complaint, the Plaintiff, Veronica Campbell, was caused to trip and fall on May 4, 2015 due to a hole in the common area of the property. She alleges the Defendant was negligent by failing to fill/fix the hole to keep the premises in a reasonably safe and proper condition for the general public.
As a result of the fall, the Plaintiff suffered physical handicap, loss of the ability to earn money in the past and future, and other permanent injuries. She also was forced to incur medical expenses.
The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000, and is represented by William C. Ruggiero, Esq. of Law Office of William C. Ruggiero in Fort Lauderdale.
