SUNRISE - On September 12, 2012, James Bartlett was on the Sears Holdings premises when a defective chair he was sitting on broke and caused him to crash to the floor.
According to the complaint filed September 6, 2016, this lawsuit holds accountable Innovel Solutions, Sears Holdings Management, and Sears, Roebuck and Co. for the negligence that caused his injuries.
As a direct result of the incident, James suffered serious bodily injuries, disfigurement, disability, scarring, lost wages, among other damages. He incurred medical and hospital expenses.
He demands judgment against all three defendants, each one in an amount greater than $15,000. He is represented by Richard J. Dolan, Esq. of Velasquez, Dolan, Arias, P.A in Fort Lauderdale.
