FORT LAUDERDALE - Yachting Promotions, Inc. and FYI Super Yachts, LLC, two companies working the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Event, are being sued for negligence after a man fell and injured himself. 

According to the complaint, the Plaintiff was at the before mentioned Boat Show when he fell into the intercoastal water from the floating dock, causing serious injuries to Helschien that were permanent or continuing in nature. 

The Plaintiff alleges the Defendants were negligent by failing to properly inspect the dock/walkways to ensure it was in good condition and failing to place caution or warning signs in the area.

Helschien prays for entry of a judgment against the Defendant in an amount in excess of $15,000 plus costs and is represented by Thomas A. Robes, Esq. of Reinfeld Cabrera Tison in Coral Springs.
