MIRAMAR - On November 2, 2016, the Plaintiff in a negligence action filed a complaint against Walmart alleging they were responsible for a slip and fall incident.
According to the complaint, on August 18, 2015, the Plaintiff was shopping inside the store where she was caused to slip on a liquid substance and fall to the floor in an aisle located near the registers. As a result, the Plaintiff has suffered from bodily injury producing severe physical pain and suffering. The bodily injuries have forced the Plaintiff to incur medical bills including the expense of hospitalization, medical care treatment, and the aggravation of pre-existing injuries resulting in the loss of the ability to earn wages. This negligence has caused the Plaintiff disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, and the loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life.
The Plaintiff is alleging that the Defendant was negligent by failing to properly examine and maintain floor conditions along with failing to caution the Plaintiff of floor conditions.
The Plaintiffs demand judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000, plus costs, and demands a trial by jury. Additionally, the Plaintiffs are represented by Glen B. Levine, ESQ. of Law Offices of Anidjar & Levine, P.A in Fort Lauderdale.
