CORAL SPRINGS - A complaint was filed on October 20, 2016 alleging Tye Holdings, LLC, doing business as Royal University Plaza, was negligent when a man fell from his bicycle.

Abram Corbin, the Plaintiff, was riding his bicycle in the above-mentioned plaza on September 6, 2014, when rode off the sidewalk onto the parking lot, unaware that the parking lot grade was 2 feet below the sidewalk grade. This caused him to fall and violently crash into the parking lot and parking curb and sustain serious and permanent injuries. 

19The Plaintiff alleges the Defendant was negligent by failing to provide any sort of barrier and/or signage or warning tape to notify the plaintiff that the dangerous condition existed. 

The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000 plus costs of the court, and is represented by Mark T. Stern, Esq. of Law Offices of Mark T. Stern, PA in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.
