SUNRISE - A man living in Palm Beach County sues two rental companies and a driver of a golf cart on three counts of negligence.

The Plaintiff, Andrew Fernald, filed a complaint on September 1, 2016 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court against J.T.C. Rentals, INC., Todds Tables Rental, and Dennis Velasquez alleging the operation of a vehicle in a negligent manner.

According to the complaint, on September 8, 2012, Dennis Valesquez operated an EZ-GO golf cart owned by J.T.C. Rentals, INC. and Todds Tables Rentals. Due to Dennis' negligence, he collided with the vehicle in which the Plaintiff, Andrew Fernald, was the passenger. As a result of this collision, Andrew suffered bodily injuries including, but not limited to; disability, loss of ability to earn money, and the expense of hospitalization.

On the first and second count, J.T.C. Rentals, INC. and Todds Tables Rental are negligent for owning the golf cart that was negligently operated with their consent. On the third count, Dennis Velasquez was negligent for operating or maintaining the golf cart in a negligent manner so that it collided with the vehicle that the plaintiff was in.

The Plaintiff demands judgment against J.T.C. Rentals, INC., et al for damages in excess of $15,000.00, costs, and a trial by jury of all issues. He is represented by Michael S. Davis, Esq. of Boone & Davis, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
