FT. LAUDERDALE -  GEICO, as a subrogee of Lance Velia, filed a lawsuit on September 1, 2016 against Natacha and Natalya Olivia Steward, alleging negligent motor vehicle operation.

On March 14, 2014, Natalya operated a 2010 Toyota Corolla, which was under the ownership of Natacha. According to the complaint, the Defendant was negligent in operating, maintaining, and controlling the vehicle, thus colliding with the Plaintiff's insured vehicle.

 As a result of the negligence of the Defendants, the Plaintiff's insured passenger, Caran Kennedy, suffered bodily injuries including, but not limited to; pain and suffering, disability, and disfigurement. Caran will suffer losses in the future. Because Natacha and Natalya did not carry bodily injuries, GEICO became liable to Caran under their policy of insurance containing uninsured motorist benefits.

The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendants, Natacha Steward and Natalya Olivia Steward, for damages in Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist totaling $100,000, in property damage losses $7,475.31, and for the Plaintiff's deductible $500,000,along with  costs, and any other relief the Court deems just. All together totaling $107,975.31. He is represented by Jessica Morlote, Esq. of the Law Offices of Haydee De La Rosa-Tolgyesi in Coral Gables.
