HOLLYWOOD -  A complaint filed on October 17, 2016 states that Diplomat Hotel Owner LLC is being sued for negligence after a slip and fall occurred on the property.

According to the complaint, the Plaintiff, Danci Petro, was caused to slip and fall in a puddle of water that as left on the floor of the bathroom on September 29, 2014. 

9The Plaintiff alleges the Defendant failed to maintain the premises of the hotel in a reasonably safe condition, free from transitory foreign objects or substances that might give rise to injury to the Plaintiff. 

As a result of the fall, the Plaintiff suffered serious injuries and was forced to incur medical expenses for nursing care and treatment and hospitalization. The Plaintiff prays or entry of a judgment against the Defendant in an amount in excess of $15,000 plus costs, and further demands trial by jury. Danci Petro is represented by Jason R. Manocchio, Esq. of Robert J. Fenstersheib & Associates, P.A in Hallandale Beach.
